The sculptor, my uncle, was about 60 years older than me, but he was the first person I could call a friend who understood my addiction to art. We were very close friends with him and his wife, my aunt, who was a painter, until her death.

So, art, and works of art were present in my family. But I always said that I couldn't become an artist because I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough ideas to last my whole life. But now I know that I won't be able to realize all of my ideas, unfortunately, as life isn't that long. I have many ideas, some of which have their origins in family history.
